Our Science Center Visit

Today (Monday October 12, 2009 @ the Science Center) we went to a exhibit called Body Worlds. To tell you the truth, it was creepy. You would think so too if you went. Anyway, the first thing you hear when you enter is a heartbeat...... not one, but many, repeating in a awkward pace and you feel as if you want to leave. But in my case, too bad too sad. I kept on. I brushed my hand against the black wall as I bravely, courageously, heroishly (well maybe not the last one.... actually, yup your right. I'm lying) pushed on. What happened in the next hour or so were filled with horror. The minutes flew past as I faced against dead, skinless bodies, diseased lungs, dead fetuses (very sad), and animal hearts?! As the say, every dark cloud has it's silver lining, and in this case I got to touch geuninie human organs! Then, with haste, I hurried out of the exhibit.

Dumb Inventions

This weeks dumb invention is the motorized ice cream cone! It automatically spins the ice cream so that it doesn't drip.

Its good because: Ice cream doesn't last forever, and eventually it would melt. The liquid from the ice cream will leak out and your hands would become wet and squishy, and extremely uncomfortable. With this invention the ice cream wont leak and you don't have to turn the ice cream around and around to lick it.

Why it made it to dumb inventions: This motorized ice cream cone takes away the fun of eating the cone. Also, the cone requires batteries so eating the ice cream would cost extra money. The cone isn't a need and is a luxury. And if the ice cream drips down any of the cracks in the cone, the cone could break down and it would be useless.

Shin Megamitensei Imagine is a free MMORPG that puts you in the shoes of a Demon Buster. The story begins when a malfunctioning teleportation machine brings monsters known as Demons into Tokyo. Tokyo defends itself from the confused and attacking Demons and thus begins a long war. A flood known as the Great Destruction strikes, and destroys most of the human race. After a long while, several young survivers shaped the world into one that humans, would be able to guide to freedom and order. A majority of the people living lived in shelters known as "Home" (Home1, which eventually turned into the City of Protopia, Home2, destroyed by demons on your first mission, and Home3, which is where the player starts out). People, under the leadership of the Seven Wise Men, eventually left the Homes they were living in and constructed the Shinjuku Babel, a huge tower that was built over the remains of the remains of the great flood. There was peace.............. for now.


After years of peace, three pillars (known as obelisks) appeared in different areas, changing the land and bringing about a new wave of Demons. The only person who can help defeat the demons and bringing back peace? You and your fellow Demon Busters.

Wow! My friend Miranda drew this. The character is Zero, one of the older MegaMan characters. Very good drawing! Zero, in the story, uses a sword to destroy villains. Zero is also a robot , like MegaMan (only applies to MegaMan X, and ZX). He hates it when people are better than him too.

This week is a show. It is known as MegaMan StarForce. I'm not sure if North America can watch it yet but it is a new chapter in the MegaMan series. Some of you will recognize him from the games, or from the show, or even the merchandise. The story line I have is that from mmhp.net (mega man home page). Also, you should know that this series takes place 200 years after the previous chapter of the series, Battle Network.

The government agency NAZA, seeking alien life, set a space station known as Peace to make
peaceful negotiations with extra-terrestrials. They successively contact a race known as the FM-ians (doesn't that remind me of a radio?). However, the king of this race mistakes the space station's reach for peace as war threat and attacks the space station. The space station loses commission and everyone on the station is lost. Kevin Stelar is the father of Geo Stelar and gets lost in the "Peace" incident. Geo Stelar is crushed by the loss of his beloved father and doesn't leave his home. One day, an alien lands in his Transer (an electronic device that utilize Navi Cards). This alien is one of the last of a race known as the Am-ians. The aliens name is Omega-Xis and he can fuse with Geo to make "MegaMan". These two go on adventures to stop the Fm-ian king.

Todays Invention: Two person mittens


Today's couples hold hands as they walk. So what happens when its winter and extremely chilly, so the couples have their hands too cold to hold hands? Introducing Two Person Mittens! With these mittens, couples may hold hands whenever and wherever they want!



Good Invention Because: It isn't only designed for couples. If you and your mom were going to the park and it was minus 15, you might want to wear this. Sure, you can wear your own mittens, but your mom doesn't want you to get lost.

Why its in dumb inventions: You and your partner (as in, your girlfriend/boyfriend, your friend, your family) are stuck together. Also, the name isn't very appealing and nor does how it looks (not very fasionable. Looks like a human heart).
